Since the founding of Andorra in 805 by Charlemagne and the signing of treaties in 1278 and 1288, there have been countless things to do and discover in the Principality of Andorra.
but before we list off everything you can do, did you know that Andorra is the 5th country in the world with the longest life expectancy? something that has to do with our air quality, culture, gastronomy, altitude and being surrounded by nature.
There is so much natural land that it covers 90% of the national total, including valleys, rivers, forests, mountains and lakes. There are 60 mountain routes with 65 peaks over 2000 metres in altitude and 29 shelters where you can stop along the route. In addition, by preserving roads, borders, etc. for more than 700 years, UNESCO has declared almost 10% of the declared territory a World Heritage Site.
We stand out for our native products, historical legacy of rural Romanesque art, award-winning vineyards with international distinctions, a trilingual country and a place where you can find polar opposites such as relaxation-adrenaline, tranquillity-activity, tourism-disconnection, couple-family-friends, sport-recovery and/or museums-shopping.
